What a great weekend! I find myself waiting to see how well my ‘Parts’ have ‘Integrated’. Apparently the part of me trying not to emulate my father is working hand in hand with the part of me that thinks I should emulate my father. I can’t wait for the outcome. When I was doing this with Sarah (many thanks Sarah), there was a clap of thunder which she beautifully wove into her words. I was impressed.
I found out later when talking with one of the others, that the same clap of thunder came at exactly the moment her hands touched. My initial reaction was “Wow! What a moment of magic!” However, it turned out that she didn’t really feel anything at all in herself and wasn’t convinced that the technique had worked. We light-heatedly talked about how it may just take time to register, so she’s is now waiting for 2.15 next Sunday to look back and notice all those things which might tell her that her Parts may actually have been Integrated after all!
On the way home, I found myself thinking about this and that maybe the thunder, impressive though it was, had actually spoilt the experience and distracted her from more subtle feelings at the moment her hands had touched. As I was keen to try out my storytelling, I spent an hour or so yesterday putting something together for her.
She liked it, so I’ll post it next – I hope you like it too. Let me know what you think. I’d be really interested in some feedback.
Like your blog, I could use some inspiration and perhaps hynotherapy right now!
Hi there,
thanks for taking a look and leaving a comment. I’d be happy to offer help but somehow feel that geography might be against us!
There’s always technology…
All the best & keep shaking tail feathers!
